This is a ball gown I made for Earthly Delight's 2009 Jane Austen Festival in Canberra. It's the first cross over style bodice I've made, and was originally inspired by Jane's ball gown (image below) from the BBC P&P.
Other than the cross over at the front, the rest of the gown was made using the same pattern as my previous Regency gowns. It's decorated with a pink and cream trim I found at Spotlight, and buttons up at the back. |
