This is my favourite of all my Regency gowns so far. It's another day gown, again based on the Waugh pattern. It's a simple embroidered white cotton. I based it on Lizzie's gown in the BBC Pride & Prejudice, which she wears when visiting Pemberley for the first time.
The only adornment on this gown is a braid sewn under the bustline. It closes at the back with buttons covered with the fabric of the dress. |
