This was the second regency gown I ever made, and it's a day gown. It's based on Nora Waugh's pattern, with ties fed through the neckline and under the bust, which are tied at the back to pull the bodice firmly against the body. The fabric is cotton of cream with blue flowers and has a cross hatch pattern in the fabric.
The skirt is rectangular panels, which are sewn to the bodice flat at the front, and pleated at the back. |
