This site was created as a place to put my
costuming projects, along with a few other things. Don't expect to find too many
full dress diaries here - I rarely have time to document much as I'm working on
a project. But some costumes do have full write ups, others only have brief
descriptions, most only photos. If you have any questions at all, or general
feedback, feel free to contact me, and please visit my Guestbook!
A
little info about me...
I live in South Australia. My main costume
focus has always been historical, but I make a few other things from time to
time. I've been a member of some reenactment groups - I started off as a
member of The New
Varangian Guard (NVG), was for a short time a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism
(SCA), and now I'm on the national committee for the Australian Costumers' Guild. If you're in Australia (or
not!) head over to the Guild forums for lots of stimulating costuming
discussions - if you have any questions, there is bound to be someone there who
can answer them!

Starfire Phoenix is
my closest costuming friend. She has a made some amazing sci fi and fantasy
costumes, which you can see at her site. I know that my enthusiasm for costuming
wouldn't have taken off as it did without her influence.
My other
passion is Formula 1 - Forza Ferrari! - which my costuming sometimes has difficulty
fitting around. One day I'll amalgamate the two and make myself racing overalls
;) In other interests, I practiced archery for several years (another thing I
need to get back into), dabbled in fencing and heavy sword fighting, and I love
to study most areas of history.
